Kelly Cook has taught Special Education for over 25 years and has been with OVCA since 2015. She taught OVCA High School for 4 years, and returend to the Elementary School in 2020. She holds certifications in the following areas: Elementary Education, K-12 Special Education, Severe-Profound/Multiple Disabilities, Learning Disability, Mild-Moderate Disabilities and Mentally Handicapped. She also holds Registry Training Certificates in the following areas: Deaf-Blind, Multiple Disabilities and Traumatic Brain Injury.
Kelly lives in Tuttle with her husband, two stepdaughters (ages 19 & 18) and 2 boys ages 10 & 8. They are a very active family that enjoys spending time at their lake house at Eufaula, having cookouts with friends and families and watching their kids play ball. One of their daughters plays softball for Newcastle High School and their boys play baseball on traveling tournament teams. Kelly loves unsweet tea, diet Sunkist and anything vintage. She is constantly remodeling their home and hunting for that perfect piece of décor.

Her passion is Special Education and her students. She knows and believes that each child is capable of learning, and it is her job to find the way in which they can be successful.
