About Sarah Farrar

 
Sarah Farrar is a high school science teacher from Yukon, Oklahoma. After receiving her secondary Science Education degree from the University of Oklahoma in 2002, she began her career in Minco, Oklahoma teaching middle school science. She then transferred to Mustang High School in Mustang, Oklahoma where she taught high school science for eight years and was a Cross Country coach for the Middle School. Sarah then married and moved to Crescent, Oklahoma and began teaching Environmental Science and Biology at Guthrie High School in Guthrie, Oklahoma. After teaching for a year in Guthrie, she moved over to Dover Public Schools in Dover, Oklahoma and began working in the office and as a teacher. Sarah joined OVCA in 2012 and holds teaching certificates in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences and Biological Sciences.
Sarah is passionate about her teaching and loves to spend time with her family. Sarah lives in Cashion, Oklahoma and is married to Hank Farrar. They have two beautiful daughters, Rachel and Emily. The family also enjoys their Labradoodle, Duke!
