Spring 2022 State Testing
for all students in grades 3-8 and 11.
Each Spring, OVCA conducts in-person testing sessions around the state in order to comply with this state requirement.
What are the OVCA State Testing plans for 2022?
This year, the Oklahoma State Department of Education (OSDE) is requiring all Oklahoma public schools to hold state testing. OVCA will continue to work closely with the OSDE, and will follow all local, state, and federal guidelines regarding COVID-19 impacts. To create a safe testing environment, OVCA is planning for social distancing and room purifiers, among other considerations.
Student Schedules were sent via email to Learning Coaches on Friday, March 4th.
If you cannot find the email, please contact your CFA.
How will families know what to expect?
OVCA wants our students to feel comfortable when they arrive at their testing site in the Spring, and would also like for students in surrounding communities to get to know each other and develop friendships. We are planning 3 upcoming social sessions called “Are you my neighbor?” These sessions are intended to help students meet peers in the local community who might be at the same testing site. 2 sessions will be virtual, and 1 will be in person. OVCA staff is putting together exciting activities to explore common interests and enjoy creating a connected virtual community. We hope you will take advantage of these great opportunities!
Please visit the Testing Together page of the OVCA Hub for more information on these social sessions:
