About Rachel Thomason

 

Rachel Thomason's interests include binge-watching, reading, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. She graduated from the University of Tulsa. After teaching at East Central High School for two years, she switched to middle school learning at Edison. For five years she taught a variety of subjects there, including exploratory classes and yearbook. Moving to Stillwater took her to the junior high, where she worked for three years teaching Spanish 1. When attendance fell, she became a traveling teacher for the next three years, working at the high school, junior high, and middle school. After taking off 6 years to raise her daughter, she began teaching Spanish at OVCA in 2010. During the summer of 2021, she moved back to Tulsa to be closer to her family while her daughter attends college. Ms. Thomason is excited about everything that is possible with virtual learning.
