About Rebecca Pittman
Rebecca Pittman is a middle school interventionist who began with OVCA in 2019. She began her teaching career working with 1st graders in Oklahoma City, then took time off to stay home with her 3 young children. She resumed teaching in Enid at Emerson Middle School where she taught 6th grade Western Hemisphere Geography. It was there that she learned about earning a TEFL certificate so that she could work with English Language Learners. She then jetted off to Italy to earn her TEFL. Afterwards, she was offered a job with VIPKID working with Chinese students where she stayed put for 3 years before beginning a new adventure with K12. She has a master's degree in Education with a focus in curriculum development and instruction.
