About Kaylynn Watts

 

Kaylynn Watts is the Student Family Resource Coordinator for the western part of Oklahoma. She joined OVCA in 2021, her third year in education.  She began her career in education teaching 8th grade History and then became a middle school counselor.  She has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma and a Master of Education in School Counseling from Southeastern Oklahoma State University.  Helping students meet their educational goals while also serving the social and emotional needs of them and their families is her passion.  It is very important to her to know that she has set students up for lifelong success that goes far beyond their schooling years.  Some of her favorite things outside of work include baking, tending to the garden, weekends at the lake, and hiking the Colorado mountains with her husband and their sweet doodle puppy!
