“I have worked at OVCA for 7 years and am currently a CFA (Community Family Advisor). Our decision to put our son into OVCA two years ago was based on many factors, the biggest being the educational support our son was needing and not receiving from the school district for his medical/behavior situation. As his parents, we focused on determining if his social, emotional and life skills were being met in the brick-and-mortar schools. When sitting down to weigh out the pros and cons we found that the cons outweighed the pros. That is when we decided we would place him in the virtual school and see if this would help him in every aspect of his life.
