School Policies

All students enrolled in public schools in the State of Oklahoma are required to participate in state testing. Oklahoma Virtual Charter Academy is a  public school, and your student’s attendance at all testing events is mandatory. Parents must ensure that students participate in all required state and local testing throughout the school year. Parents are responsible for transportation to and from all testing events, regardless of distance.

Lack of participation in required testing may place the student’s continued enrollment at risk. A doctor’s note will be needed for missed assessments. Students who choose to not attend testing will be referred to the appropriate school compliance committee. Vacations, holidays, and/or doctor’s appointments cannot be scheduled during testing weeks.
